Marvo Magma M40 Keyboard Review

Rating: 8.0.

When we think of gaming keyboards with Rapid Trigger, SOCD, 8K polling rate and double-shot PBT keycaps, it’s easy to imagine a price tag that soars into the triple-digit range. That can very often be the case, but the Magma M40 from Marvo delivers all of those modern gaming features for around £40. Can a keyboard priced less than a AAA game deliver AAA performance?

Pros:

  • Great pricing.
  • Rapid Trigger, SOCD and 8K polling at this price is a big plus point.
  • Good typing sound and feel.
  • Decent build quality.

Cons:

  • Web-based URL for customisation lacks polish and is sometimes laggy.
  • Online information is patchy surrounding specs.
  • All plastic build.
  • Wired only.

KitGuru says: The Magma M40 may be a little rough around the edges in terms of customisation, but what it lacks in polish, it more than makes up for with a bucket load of modern gaming features at a very reasonable price.
