Elgato Stream Deck 5.0 app update arrives, brings new plugins and more

Elgato, one of the biggest suppliers of hardware and software for streaming and content creation, is launching Stream Deck 5.0 today. This major app update introduces the Stream Deck Store, giving creators access to new plugins and royalty-free music and sound effects for videos or streams.

If you've watched any major Twitch streamer before, then you've likely seen an Elgato Stream Deck. The tactile interface comes with fully customisable LCD keys, making it easy for streamers to interact with viewers and change up their stream. With the new Stream Deck Store, users will have access to even more digital assets, many of which will be royalty-free, so streamers and content creators can worry less about copyright issues.

Currently, Stream Deck has over 100 plugins, which will now be easier to browse and install thanks to the Stream Deck Store. The new platform also includes tutorial videos and tips to help new creators get started.

Stream Deck control interfaces are available in 6-key, 15-key and 32-key configurations, in addition to a free mobile app that can offer 15 virtual keys. You can download the Steam Deck 5.0 software update, HERE.
