Temtem’s post-launch support ending this year; removing all microtransactions

Before there was Palworld, there was Temtem – a turn-based creature battling MMO-like which was heavily inspired by Nintendo’s Pokemon franchise. Released back in 2022, the game has seen plenty of post-launch updates and support. Finally however, the team are moving on – but are doing so in the most player-friendly way.

Making the announcement via a lengthy blog post, the team at Crema discussed the past, present and future of Temtem.

Particularly of note, the team revealed that the upcoming 1.7 patch will be the game’s penultimate update – with 1.8 ultimately being its last major release.

With the game’s support beginning to be sunset, the team announced that all previous microtransactions and battle passes will soon be made available entirely for free indefinitely, with players able to acquire all the items using in-game currency.

Despite not being a live-service title per se, Crema have done a solid job over the years with new content and updates. Hopefully their next project is even better.
