AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX and 5945WX appear online

Two entries for Ryzen Threadripper 5000 Pro series processors have been spotted in MilkyWay@Home, a distributed computing project running on the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) platform.

The entries found by @Benchleaks featured the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WX and the 5945WX. Looking at the listed specifications, the 5995WX will feature 64 cores and 128 threads, while the 5945WX comes with 12 cores and 24 threads.

Seeing the results of both systems, the 5995WX measured floating-point speed should be disregarded as it's clearly misread information. However, the results achieved by the 5945WX seem correct, allowing us to compare with other processors. Unfortunately, there's no entry of a system using the 3945WX in the database, but there are a few using the 2920X, which is also a 12C/24T CPU, based on the Zen 1 architecture.

Compared to the best entry we found of the Ryzen Threadripper 2920X, the 5945WX is 13% faster in measuring the floating-point speed and 3% faster at calculating integers.

KitGuru says: We know AMD plans to launch both the Pro and non-Pro variants of the Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series. The question is if they will both release simultaneously or if AMD will launch both line-ups separately.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
