Dead by Daylight surpasses 100K concurrent players

Dead by Daylight has had a string of successful licensed-character DLCs, from Stranger Things to Silent Hill. It would seem that the game's recent Resident Evil event has pushed it to new heights though, setting a new concurrent player record on PC.

Over the weekend, Dead by Daylight hit a new record of 105,093 concurrent players on Steam. The resurgence in player interest has been spurred on by the Steam Summer Sale, which has the game at 40 percent off.

Dead by Daylight is also running its 5-year anniversary event this month, increasing rewards, introducing new community challenges and more.

The game also recently received Resident Evil DLC, introducing Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 as a new killer and Leon S. Kennedy and Kill Valentine from Resident Evil 2 as survivor characters. A new Dead by Daylight map is also set in Raccoon City police station.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
