Crytek announces full Crysis Remastered trilogy

Crytek has been unsubtly teasing remasters for Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 over the last couple of weeks. Now, its all official, with a full Crysis Remastered Trilogy coming over the summer, although all three remasters will also be available to buy separately.

Crysis Remastered first released in September 2020 and has improved a lot through patches in the months following the launch. Now, Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 will be getting the same treatment, with improved textures and lighting, ray-tracing as well as other improvements.

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy is coming to PC as well as consoles, including the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. An exact release date has not been announced yet, but the full trilogy should be complete by Fall 2021.

There is no word on a Crysis 4 yet, but there is evidence that Crytek is working on other Crysis-related projects.

KitGuru Says: Now that the full trilogy has been remastered, do you expect to see a Crysis 4 in the next few years?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
