Dying Light 2 release date leaks

Techland is set to show off Dying Light 2 once again later today, but the game's release date may have already leaked. The studio has previously said that Dying Light 2 is still planned to release in 2021, but it may just barely make the cut.

As spotted by Okami13 on Twitter, an Italian website went live with banner ads for Dying Light 2 earlier today, listing the release date as the 7th of December 2021 and offering up a pre-order button. The ad was later taken down from the page.

This of course follows rumours that Techland will be announcing a release date for Dying Light 2 during a stream later today. So far, that outcome is looking very likely.

Dying Light 2 has been through a rough development cycle but the studio seemed to get things back on track in 2020, leading to more open communication this year through developer update videos and social channels.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
