2B from NieR: Automata is coming to Fall Guys

Ever since it was popularised by Fortnite, many different video games have seen crossover content, especially in battle royales. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the Takeshi’s Castle styled game has likewise followed suit, with the latest leaks revealing that upcoming skins will include 2B from NieR: Automata, Tron and more.

Fall Guys Season 4.5 will bring with it a whole slew of new cosmetics when it goes live. The most interesting new costumes, as discovered by KrxnkyFG, includes that of 2B from 2017’s surprise hit NieR: Automata, as well as skins based off of the Tron franchise – alongside other regular skins including salamanders and more.

This isn't the first time NieR: Automata has crossed over with another game, but it may be the weirdest one yet. 2B and company have made appearances in a number of Square Enix games, including Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Players could also equip a 2B costume in the PS4 exclusive Gravity Rush 2. The final major crossover was with SoulCalibur VI, where 2B was a playable DLC character.

With this latest crossover being perhaps the most mainstream yet for 2B and the NieR franchise, it will be interesting to see where both Fall Guys and NieR go in the future – especially as crossovers become ever more commonplace in this industry.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
