Latest GeForce driver preps for Cyberpunk 2077 and Minecraft RTX

We're all well aware that Cyberpunk 2077 is launching this week. Naturally, that also means we have new GPU drivers to install. Today, Nvidia has begun rolling out its latest GeForce Graphics driver, including support for the full release version of Minecraft RTX and Cyberpunk 2077.

The driver includes day-one optimisations for Cyberpunk 2077 and Minecraft RTX, which has now left beta and is officially available on Windows 10. As for what we can expect in terms of performance for Cyberpunk 2077, Nvidia claims that DLSS 2.0 improves performance by as much as 60%. Cyberpunk 2077 will support ray-traced reflections, lighting, shadows, emissive surfaces and more.

Minecraft RTX supports full path tracing, making it one of the most demanding demonstrations of ray-tracing around. Of course, you can gain back some frames by enabling DLSS.

The final noteworthy feature of this new driver is the addition of five new G-Sync Compatible displays; the Acer XV242Y, Acer XB273U NV, Gigabyte FI27Q-X, MSI MAG274R and Philips 275M8RZ.

The latest GeForce Graphics driver can be downloaded through the GeForce Experience app on PC.
