AMD will share new “technology roadmaps” in November

Mark your calendars for November 11th. AMD has officially announced that it will be holding its next Financial Analyst Day, the company's first major strategy and product roadmap event in quite some time. For tech enthusiasts, these events are a treasure trove of information, often providing the first official glimpse into the company's long-term plans for its next generation of products.

The last Financial Analyst Day, held back in June 2022, was where AMD first detailed the Zen 4 and Zen 5 architectures, as well as the MI300 series of accelerators. With most of that roadmap now fulfilled, the industry will be watching closely to see what AMD has planned for the Zen 6 and RDNA 5 (or CDNA).

Although the presentations will likely be heavy on enterprise and AI, there's a chance we'll get some info on consumer-oriented products, even if it is a brief teaser.
