Rainbow Six Parasite gameplay begins to leak

Ubisoft has been working on a new Rainbow Six Siege spin-off for a long time now, with very little revealed in terms of gameplay. We finally have one small look at the game in action this week thanks to a short gameplay video leak.

The leak was shared on Reddit earlier this week, showing a brief clip of someone playing the game. It isn't much, but it is the most we've seen of this game over the past year:

The leak reveals at least three Siege operators that will be available in the game – Vigil, Lion and Tachanka. In this clip, the three-person squad is on a mission with a 15-minute time limit in a map called ‘Workshop'. There is some kind of alien egg in the corner surrounding by black goo – which then gets shot away before the egg gets destroyed.

Rainbow Six Quarantine began life as a limited time mode for Rainbow Six Siege called Outbreak. The spin-off was originally announced as Rainbow Six Quarantine but recent leaks confirmed that the team has been calling it Rainbow Six Parasite internally. Neither of these are the final names for the game – Ubisoft has plans to announce the new name soon, as well as more news about the game's impending release date.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
