Halo 3: ODST joins The Master Chief Collection on PC next week

Following on from several weeks of insider testing, 343 Industries has officially announced a release date for Halo 3: ODST on PC. The game will join the rest of The Master Chief Collection on PC next week.

Coinciding with the game's 11th anniversary, Halo 3: ODST is coming to PC on the 22nd of September 2020. The game first released for Xbox 360 on that same date in 2009.

As always, you can expect enhanced graphics from the PC version, but not a total remake or remaster like with Halo 1: Anniversary or Halo 2: Anniversary. You'll be able to crank up the resolution, play in ultrawide format and use an unlocked frame rate, allowing you to go above and beyond 60 frames per second.

Of course, Firefight is also joining ODST in the Master Chief Collection, bringing the fan-favourite multiplayer mode back after previously removing it from the Xbox One release.
