Hitman 3 DLC is on the way, may include ‘reimagined’ levels

Following the last two Hitman games, IO Interactive spent a year or so releasing additional DLC, adding in free new content in addition to paid levels. While no DLC has been revealed for Hitman 3 yet, IO Interactive will indeed be expanding upon the finale in the months to come.

Speaking with The Gamer, Hitman 3 executive producer, Forest Swartout Large, explained that the team is “continuously working on Hitman” and that they are “already looking to the future”.

Expanding on that comment, Large added: “We are definitely going to be doing some DLC, but we haven’t defined what that is”. There are some ideas floating around, but they don't involve completely new levels. Instead, the developers are looking at “using existing locations and reimagining them, twisting them”.

IO Interactive announced this week that Hitman 3 has already become profitable. Within the next couple of months, we should also start to see official DLC plans announced.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
