EA sets up new studio ‘Full Circle’ to develop Skate 4

Back in June 2020, EA officially announced that it was bringing the Skate franchise back with a new game, but we didn't know much about the studio taking on the project. That changes today, with EA announcing the new studio it has put together for Skate 4.

EA's newest studio, Full Circle, is going to be working on the next Skate game, headed by former Xbox Live manager, Daniel McCulloch.

The studio itself is based in Vancouver and currently has plenty of open job positions that need filling. As you would expect, the Creative Director role has already been filled, with Deran Chun and Chris Parry taking on creative duties.

As this studio has only just formed, we can expect a long wait ahead for Skate 4. It is still likely a few years away from release.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
