Cyberpunk 2077 retail copies have started to leak

We're all well aware that Cyberpunk 2077 went gold a couple of weeks before being delayed from November 19th to December 10th. With that in mind, there are disc copies of the game already floating around and at least one of them has leaked to the public over the last few days.

Over the weekend, one PS4 owner began streaming the first 20 minutes of Cyberpunk 2077, skipping over character creation to get straight into the game. Fortunately, this footage wasn't particularly spoiler heavy, but this could be a worrying sign, as there is always the potential of more leaks.

Of course, anyone who does get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077 before release will have to play without the game's day-one patch, which we know is going to be very significant.

One of the key reasons Cyberpunk 2077 was delayed from November 19th to December 10th was to spend some extra time optimising performance and squashing bugs on current-gen consoles. With that in mind, anyone with an early copy is going to be playing a lesser version of what will be available at launch.

KitGuru Says: CD Projekt Red hasn't commented publicly about the PS4 version leak, but I imagine an investigation is underway. Hopefully leaks can be kept to a minimum as we wait for the official release in December.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
