Ryzen 5000 series CPUs now available in UK

After a one month wait, AMD has officially released the first Ryzen 5000 series processors, starting at the top with the Ryzen 9 5950X and going down to the Ryzen 5 5600X. With retailers now able to list and ship the CPUs, we take a look at UK availability and pricing.

At Overclockers UK, you can find all four new Ryzen processors available, but only in the UK and Ireland due to high demand.

Price-wise, you'll find the Ryzen 9 5950X at the top of the pile with a £799.99 price tag, followed by the Ryzen 9 5900X for £539.99. If you want to see some benchmarks and analysis of these CPUs, then you can find out Ryzen 9 5950X review HERE and our Ryzen 9 5900X review HERE.

The Ryzen 7 5800X occupies the £428.99 price point and finally, we have the six-core, 12-thread Ryzen 5 5600X for £289.99.

KitGuru Says: The Ryzen 5000 series appears to be off to a good start based on reviews. Are any of you planning on upgrading before the end of the year?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
