EA has a Need for Speed remaster up its sleeve

For a few months now, EA has been rumoured to be preparing two big remasters for the holiday season. Unfortunately, the Mass Effect trilogy remaster was pushed back to early 2021, however, the other remaster is still on the way and thanks to a new teaser, it appears to be a Need for Speed game.

Need for Speed started to find its footing again last year with NFS: Heat. EA is hoping to follow that up again this year with another new Need for Speed, which is due to be announced on Monday.

The teaser website/countdown page has the following teaser: “5:10. How did he go so fast? Five Ten.” These teasers could be indicative of a Need for Speed: Most Wanted remaster, but other rumours seem to point towards a Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit remaster instead.

Either way, we'll find out for sure next week and we can expect a fairly quick turn around from announcement to release.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
