Baldur’s Gate 3 early access launch delayed

Like most game studios, the team behind Baldur’s Gate 3 has faced various setbacks this year due to the Coronavirus and the need to switch to a work-from-home environment. For a while now, Larian has been working towards a September Early Access launch date, but this has since been pushed back a little bit.

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available in early access starting on the 6th of October, a one week delay from its original September 30th Early Access launch date. According to Larian, this was due to a few unexpected delays and stability issues.

This delay should only set the game back by one week, but final checks still need to be made. So while it is unlikely that further delays happen, it also isn't a complete impossibility.

Later today Larian Studios will begin detailing romance/companionship options for Baldur's Gate 3 to keep us occupied in the meantime. Baldur's Gate 3 will be available in Early Access on Steam, GOG and Google Stadia.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
