Amazon UK listings appear for PS5, Xbox Series X and next-gen games

With no E3 taking place this year and shifting dates for big digital announcement events, some retail listing leaks were bound to come through sooner or later. That appears to have begun happening today, with a series of next-gen placeholder listings appearing on Amazon not just for console hardware, but for next-gen games from various publishers too.

The most interesting placeholder is the listing for several PS5 editions, with different SSD sizes going up to 2TB. According to a screenshot shared by Wario64 on Twitter, the price is currently listed as £599.99 in the UK, but the 1TB version is also listed at the same price, indicating that the pricing information isn't 100% correct at this stage.

There are 118 dummy listings for PS5 items on Amazon UK and 132 for Xbox Series X, this includes consoles themselves, accessories as well as games. Speaking of next-gen games, there are dummy listings for PS5/Xbox Series X games from Konami, Bethesda, Rockstar, Koch Media, Deep Silver, Namco Bandai, EA, Microsoft, Sony, Take 2, 2K Games, Warner Bros Interactive, SEGA, Activision and Ubisoft. Some of these companies have already announced next-gen titles, so they won't all be mysteries. Several of these may have already been shown during the May Inside Xbox episode.

There are also still plenty of unannounced current-gen titles waiting to have their listings filled out and made live- 170 to be exact. Some of these will likely be cross-gen titles, meaning there will be crossover with the listings in place for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

We'll start seeing more next-gen games in action tomorrow, during Sony's PS5 games reveal. Microsoft is planning another big games reveal for Xbox Series X in July.

KitGuru Says: I wouldn't be surprised if next-gen consoles ended up reaching as high as £599.99 for a higher storage version. However, this PS5 price is far from confirmed yet, so take the info with a pinch of salt.
