ASUS launches VivoBook Flip 14 laptop with 360° hinge

ASUS yesterday announced the VivoBook Flip 14 TM420. The new laptop from the Taiwanese manufacturer uses a 360° hinge that allows the VivoBook Flip 14 TM420 to be used as “traditional laptop, a tablet, or anything in between”.

The ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 can be equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 4700 mobile processor, 16GB memory and a 1 TB SSD. The laptop is designed to stand out, using a “textured bespoke black metal chassis with diamond-cut logo, and a colour-blocked Enter key.” The 360° ErgoLift hinge is tested 20,000 times to make sure that it will endure “for years to come”.

This new ASUS laptop is also made to be easy to travel with, being 18.2 mm thin and only weighing 1.5 kg, or 3.09 lb. One of the features that perhaps stands out the most is the “NUMBERPAD 2.0”, which allows the user turn the touchpad into a LED-illuminated numeric pad.
For connectivity the laptop offers 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x HDMI, 1 x Audio combo jack, 1 x MicroSD card reader, 1 x Kensington lock and a DC-in port.

KitGuru says: ASUS is bringing something fresh to the 2-in-1 laptop market. What do you all think of the new Vivobook Flip 14?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
