Nvidia releases latest ‘Game Ready’ driver and announces RTX Death Stranding bundle

With more big games on the horizon, it is time for another Nvidia driver update. The latest Game Ready update preps GeForce GPU users for Death Stranding, but that isn't the only news we have today, as Nvidia has also announced that it will be bundling Death Stranding with RTX GPUs this month.

The Death Stranding ‘Embark On Your Journey' bundle kicks off today and is available until the 29th of July. If you buy a GeForce RTX graphics card from a participating retailer during that time, then you will get the game for free. While Death Stranding doesn't use RTX ray-tracing, it is the latest game to support the much improved DLSS 2.0 technology, dramatically boosting performance for RTX GPU users.

Aside from that, there is a Game Ready driver is also available, which adds day-one optimisations for Death Stranding, F1 2020, and Horizon Zero Dawn. You can download that new driver, HERE.

Finally, this driver also adds three more ‘G-Sync Compatible' displays- the Dell S2721HGF and S2721DGF and the Lenovo G25-10.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
