Dying Light 2 is ‘in good shape and in good hands’ despite recent rumours

This week, there has been a lot of talk around Techland and the studio's upcoming game, Dying Light 2. A translation of a Polish interview citing sources within Techland claimed that Dying Light 2 was in big trouble as internal issues continued to affect the studio. However, Techland claims these reports are inaccurate.

Ola Sondej, Senior PR manager for Techland, addressed the rumours on Twitter, claiming that the English translation of the Techland article is “totally inaccurate” and that Dying Light 2 is in good hands.

We haven't heard much about Dying Light 2 for a while now, as the game was delayed back in January, with no new release window announced. Of course, the coronavirus pandemic will also be slowing things down.

Hopefully we will hear more about Dying Light 2 and its eventual release later on this Summer.

KitGuru Says: Dying Light 2 looked awesome at E3 a couple of years ago. Here's to hoping that all is well at the studio and the game is still on track.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
