Halo 2: Anniversary PC unlock times revealed

After a period of testing last month, Microsoft is now ready to add Halo 2: Anniversary to the Master Chief Collection on PC. The 2004 masterpiece will be heading to Steam and Game Pass on May 12th, just over two months after Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary released. We even have specific unlock times for each region.

If you are eager to jump in as soon as Halo 2 goes live next week, then you can find region specific unlock times from a Halo Community Manager below:

Halo 2 originally came out for the Xbox in 2004 and eventually made its way to PC as a Games for Windows Live title. Since Games for Windows Live shut down years ago, playing the original Halo 2 on PC can be an inconvenient process. Of course, The Anniversary edition fixes all of that, while also adding in remastered graphics, completely remade cinematics and other improvements. On the PC, the game will also support higher resolutions, frame rates and 21:9 displays.

Halo 2: Anniversary comes to PC on May 12th. If you already own the full Master Chief Collection on Steam, then you will automatically be able to begin downloading it next week. Alternatively, if you are buying the games one at a time, you can get it as DLC for the collection at £6.99. You can also subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for PC and get instant access through there.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
