Screenshots for DOOM Eternal’s first campaign DLC released

As great as DOOM 2016 was, the decision to focus on multiplayer for DLCs rather than the campaign wasn't a high point. That is changing with DOOM Eternal, as id Software has already confirmed additional campaign levels post-launch, and now, we have a sneak peek at what to expect.

There are no details yet, but two screenshots for the first campaign DLC for DOOM Eternal have been revealed:

Those that own the DOOM Eternal season pass will get this first campaign DLC as soon as it is available. A second campaign DLC is also planned, presumably for release before the end of this year. These DLCs will tell the story of how Earth ended up falling to demon invaders.

Unfortunately, that is all the information we have for now, but we should get more news soon.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
