Thermaltake unveils the S100 TG compact PC case

Thermaltake has added a new member to its S series PC chassis range, the S100 TG is a new Micro Chassis available in black or white with a tempered glass side panel and a sleek, elegant appearance to suit rigs where space is limited.

The S100 Tempered Glass Micro Chassis from Thermaltake is suitable for Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards due to its compact form factor. A left-hand side 4mm thick tempered glass window is mounted on hinges with a magnetic latch for easy access and provides a stunning view of internal components. An enclosed front panel design features side vents for airflow into the chassis and top-front mounted I/O connectivity offers practicality.

In terms of cooling, the S100 TG is equipped with a pre-installed 120mm rear exhaust fan, the top of the case can support up to 200mm or two 120/140mm fans and at the front, there is space for two 120 or 140mm fans. Liquid cooling support consists of space for up to 280mm radiator or AIO CPU cooler installation in both the front and top panels of the chassis, as well as a 120mm radiator at the rear.

Support for a wide range of hardware is catered for in the Thermaltake S100 TG, including installation of graphics cards up to 330mm long, CPU coolers up to 165mm tall and power supplies with a maximum length of 160mm. A top vented panel is protected from dust entry via a magnetic filter and the underside of the chassis is equipped with a filter to minimise dust entering the power supply.

There is also plenty of space for storage devices inside the S100 TG. Two 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch HDDs can be installed in the HDD rack and there are two additional HDD brackets for mounting 2.5-inch drives. Front I/O consists of a single USB 3.0 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports and 3.5mm HD Audio jacks.

The Thermaltake S100 Tempered Glass Micro Chassis is available to pre-order now in white or black colour schemes priced at £44.99.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
