Castlevania will be getting a fourth season on Netflix

The Castlevania series on Netflix swiftly garnered a reputation as one of the video game adaptations around and that success continued over the course of the show’s second season. Season 3 just released and has also garnered up high praise. As a result, Netflix is keen to get people looking forward to Season 4.

Over the weekend, Netflix announced that Castlevania will return for Season 4:

No release date is given but presumably the new season will arrive in 2021, continuing the story of Dracula and his family. Aside from that, Adi Shankar, producer on Castlevania, is also working on a brand new Devil May Cry animated series.

KitGuru Says: It is great to see TV/movie adaptations of video game franchises finally hitting the right notes. Lately we've had Detective Pikachu, Sonic the Hedgehog and of course, Castlevania. Hopefully this new trend will continue with the Resident Evil film reboot, Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter.

And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
