Classic PC MMO Habbo Hotel is coming to Steam

Habbo Hotel was a classic browser-based MMO which released back in the early 2000s. As with all MMOs, the game has changed and evolved over time. For those who miss the nostalgia of the OG Habbo Hotel, publisher Sulake Oy has announced that Habbo Hotel: Origins is “coming soon” to Steam.

Available to wishlist now on Steam, Habbo Hotel: Origins allows you to “Step back into a vibrant pixel universe where familiar faces and fresh surprises await.”

Based on the earlier 2005 iteration of Habbo Hotel, Origins should offer plenty of familiarity for those who enjoyed the MMO back in the day.

That said, as with the likes of Old School Runescape and World of Warcraft Classic, Habbo Hotel is planned to receive consistent updates which evolve “every season.”

It is worth noting that Habbo Hotel: Origins has been operating since 2024, however players would need to download the game directly through Habbo’s site.

As such, having a classic such as this on Steam is welcome to see. Hopefully the game continues to stay true to the original Habbo Hotel.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
