Amazon leaks February release date for Nioh 3

I've never been much of a ‘Souls' fan, having given up on all my Dark Souls playthroughs. However, Team Ninja changed that for me with Nioh on the PS4, offering what I felt was a more varied and fluid combat system. Nioh 3 is now on the way, having been announced in June during a PlayStation showcase. While we didn't get an official release date at that time, an Amazon leak points to a February launch for both PC and PS5.

Nioh 3 was confirmed for both PS5 and PC (Steam) when it was revealed in June, but we did not get a release date at that time. With the Tokyo Game Show about to begin, we are no longer in the dark about when this game will come out. According to an early Amazon listing (via Gematsu), Nioh 3 will officially release on February 6th for both PC and PS5.

We are likely to get a new trailer for the game officially announcing the release date later this week. Considering that there was a limited-time demo back in June, I wouldn't be surprised if an updated version of the demo also returned ahead of the official launch.

Nioh 3 expands on the first two games with even more combat variety. Players will be able to seamlessly switch between Samurai and Ninja combat styles to pull off new combos. This also allows players more freedom in how they tackle the game and opens up new tactical options when approaching groups of enemies of major bosses.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
