Gran Turismo 7 Spec III update officially announced

Ever since its initial release back in 2022, Polyphony Digital has kept Gran Turismo 7 feeling fresh with constant and consistent updates. That said, during the recent PlayStation State of Play, Polyphony officially unveiled one of its biggest updates yet – with Spec III arriving in December alongside tons of new additions.

Making the announcement during the recent PlayStation State of Play presentation, Polyphony Digital officially unveiled Gran Turismo 7 Spec III.

Said to be arriving in December, this free update will bring with it a ton of changes and additions, including but not limited to:

  • Two new tracks (Yas Marina Circuit, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve)
  • Eight new cars
  • Dunlop tires
  • Data Logger
  • Collector Level cap increase
  • Unlimited car invitations in Brand Central
  • Enhanced Weekly Challenges
  • New opening movie
  • New Menu Book Seasonal Menu
  • New events in Circuit Experience
  • New Curations in Scapes
  • Improvements to online races

As mentioned, Polyphony have been actively supporting GT7 with consistent updates, adding new cars; tracks; features; and even an advanced AI racer in the form of SophyAI.

Even so, this upcoming Spec III update is easily one of its biggest. Hopefully we learn even more about the update closer to its release.
