Gran Turismo 7 update brings new cars, physics and more

Since the initial release of Gran Turismo 7 back in 2022, the team at Polyphony Digital have continuously updated the game with new vehicles, modes, tracks, and a whole bunch more. Arriving later this month, GT7’s July update is set to introduce half a dozen new cars, improved physics, AI enhancements and more.

During the most recent Gran Turismo 7 World Series, the team at Polyphony Digital revealed the next free update coming to GT7. Set to arrive on the 25th of July, patch 1.49 will bring with it a solid chunk of new content, including but not limited to:

  • New track ‘Eiger Nordwand’ (from GT6)
  • New physics
  • 6 new cars
    • Ferrari 430 Scuderia (2007)
    • BMW M3 (1997)
    • Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 (2008)
    • Genesis Vision Gran Turismo
    • Subaru Impreza Rally Car (1998)
    • RUF RGT 4.2 (2016)
  • New Rims and Michelin Tires
  • GT Sophy AI compatibility added to more tracks

As mentioned, Gran Turismo 7 has seen a great deal of support from Polyphony Digital, with the game having been improved across the board with previous physics improvements; new tracks; vehicles; scapes; café enhancements – and of course the addition of the Sophy AI driver for more intense and realistic races.

Already an excellent racing game, GT7 is set to only get better with time.
