Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s first DLC will launch in September

It has been around six months since Game Freak first announced The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, a two-part set of DLCs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. We got a new gameplay trailer back in June but no release date news. That has finally changed this week, with the first DLC now set to launch in September.

‘The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero' consists of two DLCs, Part 1 is titled ‘The Teal Mask', and Part 2 is known as ‘The Indigo Disk'. During a Pokemon Presents stream today, a new trailer for the DLC dropped, including a September 13th release date for the first DLC.

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk does not have a final release date yet but is pencilled in for this Winter, which could put its release anywhere from November/December to the early months of 2024.

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
