Briony checks out the noblechairs EPIC Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Edition

Back in June, noblechairs announced a big partnership with Mercedes-AMG to launch the noblechairs EPIC Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Edition. This week, we were invited to interview noblechair's Steven Levitt to get more details and check the chair out for ourselves.

As the name suggests, this chair is based on the noblechairs EPIC series, so it should be of similar build and material quality. Of course, it does have some unique design flairs though, including Petronas Green stitching to match the esports team’s style, carbon-style side bolsters and special detailing over the chair to make it stand out.

The neck and lumbar pillows for this version are embroidered with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport logo. The chair uses cold cure foam to ensure long lasting comfort and a steel frame is used to bolster structural integrity and strength.

This chair will be used throughout the Mercedes-AMG Petronas esports training facility at the team’s F1 operations centre in the UK. If you fancy having one at home though, then you will be able to get it through Overclockers UK for £349.99.

Perhaps the most revealing moment of the entire presentation came when Jensen remarked that ‘a long time ago Nvidia used to be a GPU company’ - a statement that says a great deal about where the company sees its future.
