No Man’s Sky Voyagers update brings ship overhaul, space walking and more

Almost a decade on from its initial release, Hello Games continues to update No Man’s Sky with new and major additions. Following the Beacon Update back in June, No Man’s Sky has now gotten one of its biggest content updates in quite some time – bringing full ship customization, space walking and much more.

As with all No Man’s Sky patches, the Voyagers update is available to download and play right now. Just as expected, the list of changes and additions is highly exhaustive, but some of the most notable include the following:

  • New, fully customisable Corvette-class ships
  • Explorable and customizable ship interiors
  • You can now float around in deep space outside of your ship
  • New habitation modules
  • New ship building system
  • New ship cockpit options
  • Full controller rebinding
  • Friends can now fly on your ship with you
  • Improved translucency on glass/clear surfaces
  • DLSS4 support (PC)
  • PSSR support on PS5 Pro
  • Enhanced player (hero) lighting
  • Ship autopilot
  • Hundreds of new ship modules

By far the biggest addition is the Corvette-class ships, allowing you to design and build your own ship both externally and internally – functioning in many ways like a hybrid between the game’s Freighters and standard spaceships.

With each successive update, No Man’s Sky has continued to cement itself as not only one of the best space games of all time, but by far the most generous when it comes to post-launch support.

With almost a decade worth of updates and improvements, it’s difficult to even guess as to what else the team has in store for this ever-expanding universe.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
