You can get a free copy of Dark Souls on PC right now

Update: The giveaway is now over, the codes all ran out!

If you've ever wanted to give the Souls games a shot then now is the perfect time as you can currently get a code for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for free on Steam thanks to the Golden Joystick store.

All you need to do is head over to the Golden Joystick Store, HERE, and enter your Steam ID and email address to receive the game.

This is unfortunately only open to those in the EU/UK and it ends on the 31st of March. This is also a ‘while stocks last' affair so if you're interested, then you will want to get in quickly while you still can. If you are going to play Dark Souls on the PC, then I would also recommend looking up the DSFix mod, which makes some much-needed changes to the PC port.

KitGuru Says: Dark Souls is a great game though without DSFix, the PC version is a little shaky. If you get in on the series now, you may be able to catch up in time for Dark Souls III, which comes out next month on PC. Are any of you big Dark Souls fans? Will this giveaway convince you to give the game a shot?

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
