Amnesia: The Bunker is free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, the Epic Games Store gives away a title or two for free to all those with an Epic Games account. Following a couple weeks of pretty decent offerings, we’ve now gotten our first major title in some time – with the highly-praised Amnesia: The Bunker available to claim from today for free.

Available to add to your library from today at 4PM UK time, this week’s free Epic Games Store offerings include:

  • Amnesia: The Bunker
  • Samorost 3

The headlining title for this week is Amnesia: The Bunker – the latest entry in the viral first-person horror series from studio Frictional Games. Released back in 2023, The Bunker served as a strong return-to-form for the franchise which had in some people’s eyes gotten less scary in recent entries.

Set in a World War I bunker, this latest title features “a relentless, AI-driven monster” which stalks players throughout – not too dissimilar to the likes of Alien Isolation or Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Samorost 3 meanwhile is a visually-unique indie adventure puzzler from the team behind Machinarium which follows “a curious space gnome who uses the powers of a magic flute to travel across the cosmos in search of its mysterious origins.”

Both Amnesia: The Bunker and Samorost 3 are available to claim and add to your library from today at 4PM UK time up until the 23rd of October. As with all Epic Games offerings however, once you have claimed it, it’s yours to keep forever.
