World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth arrives this summer, pre-orders grant access to Allied Races

Late last year, Blizzard announced WoW's next expansion, pitting the horde and alliance forces against each other once again in the ‘Battle for Azeroth'. Now, we know that the expansion will be launching at some point this summer, with pre-orders going live and granting owners access to new ‘Allied Races'.

The last World of Warcraft expansion, Legion, launched in the summer of 2016- on the 30th of August to be more exact. The Battle for Azeroth expansion will be launching some time between July and the 21st of September.

Pre-orders for the expansion are going live, at £40 for the standard edition and £52.00 for the Deluxe Edition. As usual, the deluxe addition includes a bunch of in-game extras, this time around you'll get:

• Zandalar Gilded Ravasaur (Horde) and Kul Tiras Seabraid Stallion (Alliance) mounts
• Tottle, the baby Tortollan pet
• Hearthstone card back
• StarCraft II sprays
• Heroes of the Storm Primal Flamesaber mounts
• Overwatch voice lines, emotes, sprays, and icons

Buyers of both editions will receive a level 110 character boost so that you can dive straight in to the new content without going through the grind. Those who pre-order will also get first access to four new playable ‘Allied Races', including Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei, Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne.
