August’s Humble Choice line-up includes Persona 5 Royal and much more

Each month, all those with a Humble subscription are privy to a select number of titles for ‘free’ as part of the company’s Humble Choice service. Available right now, August’s titles have officially been revealed – including the likes of Persona 5 Royal; Banishers: Ghost of New Eden and more.

Available to add to your library from now until the end of August, this month’s Humble Choice line-up (which now costs £11.49) features the following:

  • Persona 5 Royal
  • Banishers: Ghost of New Eden
  • My Time at Sandrock
  • Let's School!
  • Lil Gator Game
  • Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip
  • Wildmender
  • Warpips
  • One month of IGN Plus

Of course, the headliner for August is Persona 5 Royal, with the expanded / complete edition of ATLUS’ highly popular JRPG not only giving you easily 100+ hours of entertainment but also offers a compelling story; vibrant and striking visuals, as well as a 10/10 soundtrack to boot.

Beyond this, Banishers: Ghost of New Eden is a choice-based action-RPG from Don’t Nod – the team behind the original Life is Strange, Jusant and most recently Lost Records: Bloom and Rage.

My Time at Sandrock meanwhile is the sequel to the much-loved farming / life sim My Time at Portia. Released in 2023, the game has seen and continues to receive consistent free and paid updates, turning it into far more than your typical farming sim.

As mentioned, Humble recently raised the price of their Choice subscription from £8.99 a month to £11.49. That said, for August in particular the price of admission is easily worth it for the value of games being offered.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
