Wolfenstein 2 and The Evil Within 2 added to list of 4K games for Xbox One X

The Xbox One X is set to arrive in November, with Microsoft promising plenty of titles that will be playable in ‘4K Ultra HD'. We already have a list of games getting Xbox One X enhancements but this week, two more were added to it, with Wolfenstein II and The Evil Within 2 both set to run at 4K on the new console.

This week, the folks over at Microsoft updated their list of Xbox One X Enhanced games, putting both of Bethesda's big October launches on the list. According to the page, The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will both play in 4K with HDR enabled.

These two games join a growing list, which already included Assassin's Creed: Origins, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, Halo 5, Halo Wars 2, Forza Horizon 3 and Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

There will be more Xbox One X Enhanced games coming in the future, but so far, the list of games is looking pretty solid. However, with the Xbox One X set to cost £449/$499, it will be a expensive buy-in.

KitGuru Says: 4K gaming has been possible on PC for a couple of years now, though it is still an expensive endeavour even today. With consoles now catching up in the 4K race, I'd like to see GPU makers push to make 4K gaming on PC more affordable with next gen graphics cards.
