Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is releasing soon

It looks like Asobo Studio will have more to share about Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy soon. The third game in the Plague Tale series was announced back in June 2025, but the release now appears to be just around the corner.

In a developer blog posted this week, Asobo said that the release for this game is “almost here”, indicating that the game will be with us in the next few months.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a prequel, set 15 years before the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem, which launched back in 2022. The game follows Sophia, who was first introduced in Requiem, telling the story of her past.

Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur Island, where she faces deadly trials and solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her.

KitGuru Says: If the release is almost here, then a proper release date announcement, PC system requirements and other details should be with us soon.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
