Starfield finally coming to PS5, insider claims

It has been almost two years since Starfield first launched. The game just received its latest major update and while there are rumours of incoming DLC announcements, it seems that first, Bethesda will finally be putting the game on PS5.

According to known insider Nate The Hate, Starfield is heading to PS5 and Bethesda should make the announcement this year. The official announcement is likely to coincide with the reveal of the game's next major DLC.

In recent months, other Bethesda-published games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and DOOM: The Dark Ages have also come to PS5. This past week, Microsoft also announced plans to bring Hellblade 2 to PlayStation consoles. Once the Switch 2 launches next week, we expect to see even more multiplatform game announcements from Microsoft. In particular, this year's Call of Duty could end up landing on a Nintendo platform for the first time in over a decade.

Future Xbox games like Fable and Perfect Dark are reportedly being considered for day-one availability on PS5 alongside Xbox and PC.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
