Recently, Amazon confirmed that filming had wrapped on Fallout Season 2. Now, barely a week later, the first teaser trailer for season 2 has dropped, and Amazon has renewed the series for a third season.
As reported by Hollywood-focused news outlet, Variety, Fallout has amassed over 100 million viewers since the first season released. That ranks the show in Amazon's top three ever and as a result, it is now amongst Amazon's top priorities for the Prime streaming service.

Amazon has quickly begun putting together Fallout's second season, releasing a teaser trailer and confirming a December 2025 premiere date. The previous season spent one year in editing before airing, but with the show now being a priority, it is beginning post-production immediately.
Recent comments from one of the Fallout series stars, Aaron Moten, point to a six-season plan for Fallout. Amazon clearly has faith in the show, having renewed it for Season 3 well ahead of Season 2's release. Now we just have to see if the show can maintain viewership.
