Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign delayed

Delta Force fans eager to relive the iconic Black Hawk Down campaign must wait a little longer. Developer TiMi Studio Group has announced a slight delay for the single-player mode but promises a polished and optimised experience when it arrives.

Initially slated for a January release, the Black Hawk Down campaign will launch sometime during Season 2, codenamed “Starfall”, which kicks off tomorrow. The development team assures fans that this delay ensures the campaign meets their “shared standards” and delivers the best possible experience.

In a recent interview, Delta Force game design director Ricky Liao described the Black Hawk Down campaign as a “unique narrative experience”, emphasising gameplay over cutscenes. The campaign will support solo and co-op play and offer “meaningful rewards” for multiplayer that won't affect gameplay balance. However, unlike the rest of the game, it is expected to be buy-to-play.

Delta Force has outlined an ambitious roadmap for 2025 to keep players engaged. Four seasons of content are planned, each bringing new maps (and extensions of the existing ones), modes, operators, gadgets, weapons, attachments, and events to the free-to-play shooter.
