While Sony’s 2024 remake of the Supermassive Games classic ‘Until Dawn’ did not quite make the splash that the console maker had been hoping for, it appeared to be merely part of a greater plan. Following its announcement earlier this Summer, PlayStation have now confirmed that Until Dawn 2 will officially arrive early next year in January 2027.

Until Dawn 2 is finally a reality, with the Firesprite-developed sequel set to land on PlayStation 5 sometime next year in 2027.

There may be a future for the Until Dawn series following the remake. A new cutscene heavily hints at plans for a sequel.
