Nvidia ships new Game Ready driver with DLSS 3 support for new games and bug fixes

Last week, Bethesda shipped a new Starfield beta on Steam, adding DLSS 3 with Frame Generation, DLAA and Reflex to the game. These features are still in beta but now, Nvidia has shipped a driver update supporting these features in the game. The latest Game Ready driver also brings additional optimisations for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

The latest driver update promises to deliver “the definitive experience” in Modern Warfare 3, which features all of Nvidia's latest gaming technologies, including DLSS 3, DLAA and Reflex. However, it is worth noting that Frame Generation is only available in the game's campaign mode, as discovered by early buyers of the game over the weekend. The new update also highlights support for DLSS 3, DLAA and Reflex in Starfield, although these features are currently only available in the Steam beta branch of the game.

This driver update also brings a few bug fixes. For starters, an issue that saw gradual performance degradation in Alan Wake 2 has been fixed, and Nvidia Reflex performance should now be improved in Counter-Strike 2.

You can find the patch notes for the new driver and download it directly, HERE. Alternatively, you can also install it directly through the GeForce Experience app.
