Capcom announces upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds Update Showcase

As with past Monster Hunter titles, Capcom’s recently-released MH: Wilds will soon be getting its first (of many) major post-launch updates. Labeled as the “first free title update”, the publisher has announced an upcoming showcase ahead of its April release.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Monster Hunter page wrote:

“Join us March 25 at 7am PT/2pm GMT for the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, hosted by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto! We'll be detailing the first Free Title Update coming in early April, which includes Mizutsune and a host of other new additions.”

Given how important hunting monsters is in Monster Hunter Wilds, the addition of a new (returning) Leviathan to the game should give plenty for players to sink their teeth into.

What these ‘other additions’ are however is yet to be seen. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out, as the showcase is set to go live in just a day’s time.

It’ll be interesting to see how the game’s Steam player count changes upon the launch of Title Update One.
