Lady Gaga is coming to Fortnite

By now, Fortnite is by far the game with the greatest number of crossovers, with the live service title featuring countless franchises and IPs, including real world celebrities such as Eminem, Travis Scott and Ariana Grande. Joining the ever-growing roster is Mother Monster herself: Lady Gaga.

Making the announcement via Twitter, the international super star amusingly responded to a nearly 5-year-old tweet in which she asked “what is fortnight” with a simple correction “*fortnite” – alongside an image revealing that she will be added to the game tomorrow on the 22nd of February.

Based on the teaser image, it seems as though this collab will be coming to the game’s Festival mode – which is essentially a Rockband/Guitar Hero styled rhythm game.

Alongside an influx of Lady Gaga tracks being added to the game mode’s setlist, we will likely also be able to play as Gaga herself.

Considering the fact that this collab will go live alongside Festival’s Second Season, it will be interesting to see just how many songs end up being added – and whether the Gaga skin will be available via the battle pass or as a separate purchase.
