Computex: 8Pack shows off new Orion X PC build

Over at the Asus Republic of Gamers booth at Computex this year, we ran into 8Pack, showing off a stunning new system known as Orion X, featuring brand new Broadwell-E hardware, along with triple GTX 1080s and an impressive liquid cooling set up to boot.

In this £18,000 build you will find the brand new Intel 6950X, the ten-core monster CPU that we reviewed earlier this week. This is backed up by an Asus X99 motherboard and Corsair's Dominator Platinum DDR4 RAM.

The build currently houses three GTX 980Tis but it will be upgraded to triple GTX 1080s when 8Pack makes his way back to the UK following Computex. There is a triple loop cooling system using red, silver and grey coolants, all housed in the brand new and excellent looking Phanteks Enthoo Elite case.

The Orion X will be available through 8Pack in a few months time.

KitGuru Says: That is certainly one impressive looking system, though it will be out of reach for most with that price tag. Still, it would be difficult not to admire the amount of work and effort that goes into these builds.
