Sapphire HD7990 QuadFireX Review

Our  Keithley Integra unit suffered a failure several weeks ago and is still in for repair, so today we have to measure power consumption at the socket via a calibrated meter – system wide.

Power results were measured at idle and when loading the system in the final ‘combined' test in 3DMark 11.


You will need a hefty 1000W+ supply if you want to power a high end system with two HD7990's in CrossfireX. We recorded an 824 watt power demand from the system under extended load.
