Dragon Ball FighterZ, Age of Empires 4 and more announced for Xbox Game Pass

Yesterday, Microsoft revealed that Outriders is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC this week. It turns out, the company had many more games lined up and ready to be announced. Today, the next 11 games coming to Xbox Game Pass were revealed, including one of last generation's best fighting games – Dragon Ball FighterZ.

There are two games joining Game Pass starting today – Outriders, which is now available on PC as well as console, and Into the Pit, which is available for Xbox Game Pass across cloud, console and PC.

On the 21st of October, three more games will be joining the service, starting with Dragon Ball FighterZ (cloud and console), the excellent 3v3 fighting game from Arc System Works. Echo Generation will be joining Game Pass across cloud, console and PC, while Everspace 2, an early access title, will be available on Game Pass for PC.

On the 28th of October, six more games will be joining Xbox Game Pass, including:

  • Age of Empires IV (PC)
  • Alan Wake's American Nightmare (console and PC)
  • Backbone (console)
  • Bassmaster Fishing 2022 (cloud, console and PC)
  • Nongunz: Doppleganger Edition (cloud, console and PC)
  • The Forgotten City (cloud, console and PC)

Unfortunately, some games have to leave Xbox Game Pass to make way for newer titles. On the 31st of October, the following titles will be leaving the service; Carto, Celeste, Comanche, Eastshade, Five Nights at Freddy's, Knights & Bikes and Unruly Heroes.

KitGuru Says: If you've got Xbox Game Pass and need something new to play, I would recommend trying Outriders, Age of Empires 4 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. While the new Age of Empires isn't out just yet, it is shaping up to be a great game, while the other two have already garnered plenty of critical acclaim.

KitGuru Games: Corporate nonsense has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy as game removed from over 170 countries

It tends to take a lot for gamers to 'forgive' a studio after messing up a launch, for instance CD Projekt Red had to spend three additional years developing Cyberpunk 2077 before many were willing to give the game another shot. In the case of Helldivers 2, despite the game having some rough server issues at launch, the game turned out to be so good that many players simply waited things out, without leaving a trail of negative reviews. Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
