CM Storm is back in the KitGuru labs, but this time it’s a headset that gets put through our demanding test procedures. Can the affordable Ceres-400 prove that CM Storm has what it takes to compete in the sub-£40 gaming headset market?

Touted as being built for ‘gamers on the go’, the versatile Ceres-400 combines a sturdy design with the globally-recognised 3.5mm audio jack. Large 40mm drivers are advertised as offering ‘amazing sound quality’ while the 90mm earpads promote a comfort-enhancing fit and noise-isolating environment.

Capable audio components coupled with the noise-cancelling microphone make the Ceres-400 seem like a promising gaming headset. But will our tests prove otherwise?

I think thats a very stylish looking headset for the price. shame about the glue problem, but maybe that was an early review sample problem?

Davis, I hope it’s a problem related with early review samples ONLY. Whether this is the case or not, it shows the potential for such problems to occur again in the future, therefore requiring some form of attention by CM Storm.
